Yesterday Evelyn (an amazing PCC person) sent out this email about PCC’s fall cleaning this Saturday. There’s no way I could do justice to Evelyn by summarizing her email… so here it is in it’s entirety. If you’ve got a few hours on Saturday maybe you could stop by and give Evelyn and her team a hand.
Hey Parkview Church,
Yes, YOU!!!!!
THE PEOPLE BUILDING NEEDS A CLEAN SWEEP!
This Saturday, September 8th, our 2nd annual Clean Sweep Saturday will kick off at 8a.m. We’ll start with some breakfast snacks/beverages and hit the painting, dusting, power washing, window cleaning and so much more fun, I can’t even list it all!
Your family, small group, friends, neighbors, the dog (if he can push a vacuum, he is welcome!)are all encouraged to come and give our people building a good “once over cleaning”. Come for an hour, half a day, half an hour; JUST COME! Please don’t think to yourself: “oh, there will be enough people” (and by the way, thank you to the TWELVE (12) people that have already signed up)! Instead think: “many hands make light work” or “what a great way to get my kids involved in giving of themselves and we get to clean together”. Think whatever you want, just come out THIS SATURDAY between 8 a.m. and noon or 1 p.m. until 5 p.m.
Afternoon snacks and beverages will also be provided, I think we had ice cream last year!
While I know I didn’t get much advertisement on this because of the storm and the holiday, I am certain that Parkview Church will rise to this cleaning occasion because YOU GUYS ROCK!!!!!
If you are attending the Children/Youth prayer time this Friday evening and you want to get a head start, just let me know. I am happy to accommodate early cleaners.
One last time: come on, Church, let’s do this!
Happy and Blessed to be serving with you,
Evelyn
