We are just a few days from our kick-off Sunday and the activity around the PCC offices is… high. A visitor may think things are frantic. Oh no. We’re just passionately and actively getting ready for Sunday. Yeah, passionately active. 🙂

Over the past few weeks a number of folks have committed to volunteering in a variety of ministry positions. It’s always a cool thing to watch folks get plugged into a ministry team. Cool because volunteering is not about simply plugging holes, it’s about serving alongside others to participate in God’s mission in our world!

We are still looking for a few volunteers to serve in some very strategic areas. Here are those positions, along with the contact person if you are interested in receiving more information:

• 2 male kindergarten teachers. Sundays at 9:30. Contact susan@pccmail.org
• A female small group leader for 4th and 5th graders. Sundays at 11:00. Contact susan@pccmail.org
• Female care group leaders for Wild Kingdom (junior high ministry). Tuesdays at 6:30 PM. Contact daniel@pccmail.org
• Logistics and set-up person for Ignite (high school ministry). One hour on Thursdays anytime before 6:30 PM. Contact glenn@pccmail.org
• Early rising greeters for Manna (homeless ministry). Sundays at 7:00 6:00/6:30. Contact brian@pccmail.org
• Leaders/hosts for mixed small groups (especially outside of the Wheaton/Glen Ellyn area). Contact david@pccmail.org
• Facilitator for our Disc Golf ministry. Anytime you darn-well please.

OK, that last ministry doesn’t actually exist. But it would be pretty awesome if it did!
