I don’t know if you folks are aware of it, but the PCC staff has recently grown. Robin Ahn came on as a part-timer a couple weeks ago. I recently asked her a few questions to introduce her to the readers of this blog.

Tell us about your family.

I have been married to my husband Tenny for 17 years and have two children. My daughter Hannah is 8 and is in 3rd grade and my son Luke is 4 years old.

What are your responsibilities in your job and PCC? What type of work did you do before coming on staff at PCC?

Under the direction of Chuck [PCC’s Administrative Pastor], my main responsibilities are accounts payable and payroll. I have been at home with my kids for the past 6 years. Prior to that, I was in managed health care and worked as a contract negotiator. I have also been involved in operations of a family business and did accounts payable and payroll back when it was all done manually. It’s much easier now!

What is your favorite movie? What movie have you seen most recently?

Yikes, my favorite movie. While I think about that I”ll tell you that the last movie I saw was Hairspray. I guess I would have to say my favorite is Shawshank Redemption. Crash rates up there with one of my favorites too.

We’re really glad Robin has joined our rather eclectic staff. Given the fact that her latest movie starred John Travolta in drag… I think she’s going to fit in just fine.

About the photo Robin says, The story behind it is kinda funny. My parents are big Cardinals fans (they live in Missouri). When the Cubbies were playing the Cards we sent this “posed” picture to my parents just to give them a hard time. Of course they think I am a traitor and they’ve been trying to convert my kids since birth. No such chance!
