Last Sunday evening I went to the Metro with a friend to hear a concert by Iron and Wine, the stage name for singer-songwriter Sam Beam. Beam, with his Jeremiah Johnson-esque shaggy hair and massive beard, is a heck of a songwriter with a very unique sound. This video for his song Naked as We Came is so incredibly simple, but also so beautiful and- from my perspective- packed with layers of fascinating imagery. As a side note, Beam directed this video. Talk about multi-talented. Enjoy.
