On the last Sunday of 2008 at PCC we asked folks to write down their answer to this question, What could 2008 look like as we pursue the mission of God in purposeful ways? This past Sunday we took the cards with everyone’s answers and attached them to the walls of the auditorium. It was good to see folks looking at the cards, reading what PCC people are looking forward to this year. Here are three examples of things people wrote on their cards…

Get a new job that allows me time to step into the outreach of seeing others come to Him.

We will impact DuPage county as a collective body. Ministering to non-church goers… providing a place to belong, relationships that display the fruits of the Spirit and hope for eternity. People are dying for community.

That I will let God speak through me to my kids. To embrace the unknown with confidence because God knows!
