Readers of this blog who are Parkview people received a letter from Parkview’s Senior Pastor yesterday. In it he broke the news that I have accepted a job at New Community Covenant Church in the Logan Square neighborhood of Chicago. I have added a page to the blog to fill in some of the details about the long process that led Maggie and I to this difficult and exciting decision.

This Sunday I will share some more of this story during services.

There is no great way to share this news with so many folks, but I hope Ray’s letter, this blog, and sharing on Sunday morning will all be helpful attempts.

I will continue posting on this blog after moving into the city. I hope some of our PCC friends will continue to read and comment.
