It was on the wish list for a while, but The National’s debut album, Boxer arrived in the mail this week. I’m digging it, though it’s too early to say if it lives up to the hype. Here they are on Letterman last July preforming Fake Empire.

Of course, I’m predisposed to like any song that employs “empire” as a concept.
