I’m sitting in Caribou doing a few last minute things before meeting Maggie after work. This dude just walked in, looked at a woman who appears to be pregnant who was waiting in line, and asked her,

Is that your Halloween costume?

I’m no expert in tact, but I’m pretty sure that was a less-than-sensitive thing to say.

Wow!

The woman, by the way, didn’t seem really happy with the question.

    That is just a teeny little drop in the “rude and ignorant comments made to the pregnant woman ” bucket. My personal favorite was, “woah, you’ve been eating too many chocolates.” Bang Zoom.
