Guy: How about Sting?
Girl: (Laughs) Is that his real name?
Guy: No!
Girl: Well… I didn’t know if it was his last name or something.
Guy: Oh. Yeah. Maybe it is.

I want to say it was Eddie Izzard who made the joke (although I could be wrong) about how Sting decided one day to call himself that, and how odd it must have been for his friends…
“From now on, I’d like you all to call me Sting.”
And there’s more but I am now infusing Eddie Izzard into my memory, and would likely screw up the dialogue by adding superfluous brit-isms to it all… 🙂
