praying for hard things

In our staff meeting on Monday we spent some time talking about different PCC folks who are going through some hard things these days.  Serious illness, relational breakdown and divorce, job stuff.  I’m helping with the funeral of a PCC person’s parent this weekend.  Some heavy stuff.

As we prayed for these things during our meeting we acknowledged how big these things feel.  And we also acknowledged that God is really big and- whether we see it or not- in control.

If you think of it, pray for folks in your community this week who are in the thick of some hard stuff.
