a first for me

Yesterday afternoon I had a chance to record four conversations with Skye Jethani and Matt Tebbe for the inaugural Leadership Journal podcast. Skye is Leadership’s managing editor and Matt is a pastor at Life on the Vine in Long Grove, a church I’ve watched with interest from a distance. Skye’s idea was to have 4 conversations around 4 different articles from the spring issue of the journal. Each conversation was about 15 minutes and, aside from the mics, it was easy to forget we were being recorded. Skye and Matt are insightful guys and it was a privilege to be in conversation with them.

I’m not sure when the podcasts will be up, but I’ll try to remember to mention it here when they go live.

looking forward to it, Dave. I have also wrote a couple of posts for Out of Ur and know Skye a bit.

Maybe we can have coffee sometime as I think you are not far. I’ve seen your posts at Out of Ur.

Man, I’d love to hear a podcast with you on it, David… Seriously. I’m a huge podcast guy (there’s totally two types of people in this world…) and think they’re such a great way to get relevant talk radio in the 21st century…

Anyway, beyond that, please please please do let me know, and if the podcast is on iTunes, please let me know that too, so I can subscribe!

In fact, I’d be very interested in a blog post on what podcasts you listen to (and no cheating… list em all, even if they’re not “churchy”) 🙂

You show yours and I’ll show mine. 🙂
