back from vacation

We arrived home late last night (thanks Jason for the Midway pick up) from our vacation and family reunion in California. A few highlights:

Introducing Eliot to more of his extended family.
Picking 10 lbs of fresh strawberries in view of the Pacific Ocean.
Banana slugs.
Preaching at Sierra Bible Church.
Canoeing on a mountain lake near my parent’s home in Murphys.
3 visits to In-N-Out Burger.

I hit the ground running today, so the blog will remain quiet for a few days. However, I had to share this short video from Yosemite National Park where Maggie and I spent Monday hiking and exploring.

Can I just say, Josh and I went to CA for the first time last summer with his folks, and I LOVED In-N-Out Burger?! It was also my first time seeing the Pacific, on our day drive to Santa Barbara. Is California where you’re from?

Yosemite and the drive up/down 101 are definitely two of the most beautiful places in the US!

(I still have yet to eat at In-N-Out despite my several trips to CA…)
