His Second Birthday
Eliot turned two today and we celebrated with family and chocolate cake. A week ago we were returning from an overnight in the hospital after Eliot was diagnosed with pneumonia, so the celebration was particularly special today.

Eliot and I spend most Wednesday afternoons together while Maggie teaches cooking classes for Common Threads. Yesterday our Chicago weather was warm enough for us to spend the afternoon out of the condo, exploring the Chicago Cultural Center after an exciting (for Eliot) train ride up from our neighborhood.
