The small group I’m a part of is currently looking at the Sermon on the Mount. On Sunday evening we read through the entire thing out loud twice. After reading it the first time we were looking for some of the big themes of the sermon and one of the guys said,

The Sermon on the Mount is counter cultural… no matter what your culture is!
