July Tomatoes
Our small vegetable and herb garden is coming in nicely. Tomatoes and green beans are just now making their appearances; basil, mint and the other herbs are heavily featured in our recipes. Any other amateur gardeners enjoying the fruits (and vegetables) of your labors?

Extra-good Friday
Last year, on Good Friday at about this time, we received the first photos of the boy who would become our son. A week later we met him for the first time when, as foster parents, we took him home. Last week we celebrated his first birthday. Good Friday will always be extra-good for us.
